Some people want to be rich and famous, some doctors or lawyers and some, just some want to go pigging. Tyce Jensen is a true die hard pigger, he is confined to an electric wheel chair from a degenerative disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy, which affects his muscles and makes them worse as he get older. “Spinal muscular atrophy is a group of inherited diseases that cause progressive muscle degeneration and weakness, eventually leading to death”
He has outlived his life expectancy of 12yrs old and every day since then has been a bonus to him, he is now 25 years old. He doesn’t let his wheelchair stop him. He is always getting out and giving everything a go, even if people said it was not possible.
We all have dreams and Tyce’s is simple he wants to buy a side by side ATV set up so he can get in and out of it and be able to drive himself around when out hunting with friends and family instead of being stuck at camp. When I read Tyce’s story it literarily made me teary eyed and I realized how lucky we all are to have what we have in this world. I deeply hope Tyce’s dream comes true and I will help where ever I can by donating cash and goods to tyce’s cause.
Tyce needs your help to raise the funds for his dream. The aim is $20,000 at time of writing, he has raised almost $2000, if just 700 people donated just $25 his dream would be a reality. Come on people you spend at least 5x that every time you go to the pub for a night out, it’s not much everyone can afford it. You can donate at his website

A Word From Tyce,
I could walk until I was around 5 years old and then confined to a wheelchair. Being in a wheelchair has its boundaries, but I have never let that stop me doing what fulla’s do. Growing up, I was treated like any normal kid and always got out with my brothers and mates. I have had many challenges to achieve, but the main one was being told that I would not live past twelve years old. I am now twenty five and have used the encouragement from others to keep my head held high. Having a close family and good friends has helped a lot as my brothers are always trying to work out ways of doing things for me and getting me places. I have a love for camping, outdoors, fishing, and especially hunting with my dogs and good mates. Whilst I’m out hunting and having fun, it does have its bad side of being in a chair. Usually, I just sit in the car as my chair cannot get around the bush, which leaves me to stay in camp. This isn’t always exciting as I miss out on the best parts of the hunt. Growing up, I have always watched my mates getting around on their motorbikes and in their cars. I always wished I could get out there and muck around with them. I currently have two dogs consisting of Stitch, who is a four year old bully X and a six month old Boxer/cattle X, who is shaping up to be a nice dog. I have also trained a dog for my brother and she is a stag/wolf X. She had her first find last year, which I didn’t get to see, but it was a good catch from what I heard.
